On this episode of the podcast, we are discussing holding onto the memories from a trip, and ways to keep a trip alive. We specifically discuss both photography and journalling as ways in which to do this. Photography is a great way to keep a trip alive because you can put photos on social media, print them out and frame them, or make a photo book with them. Although photography is definitely a great way to keep a trip alive, it is also easy to lose presence in an amazing place when focusing on taking photos.
The other way that we have held onto our memories is keeping a travel journal. Although this is a great way to keep memories alive while traveling, neither of us has really used our journal since returning home. Nevertheless, it is a good way to recount events of a trip, as well as to discuss the way you are feeling in a certain place at a certain time. It can be difficult to stay on top of keeping a journal, and to create a routine with it, so we discuss how we overcame these difficulties.
Enjoy!
