On this episode of the podcast, we’re discussing learning spanish for two weeks in Buenos Aires, Argentina. After 3 months of non-stop travel in South America, we were ready to stay put for a few weeks, learn something new, and become comfortable in a city. We chose Buenos Aires because we heard that it was an awesome city that was a bit more westernized, and a great place to stay for a longer period of time. What we heard wasn’t wrong, as we both instantly fell in love with BA.
While there, we stayed with a lovely older woman, named Amanda, and her 2 cats. Once we passed our initial awkwardness of staying in someone else’s home, we settled in quite nicely, and even developed somewhat of a routine. Our mornings consisted of breakfast with Amanda, taking the subway to school, 4 hours of language learning, and then exploring BA a bit before returning home to have a delicious home cooked meal with Amanda. While in BA, we learned how to drink mate, do the tango, as well how to speak a bit of spanish!
Join us as we discuss what we liked and disliked about our 2 week experience in BA! 🙂
