On this episode of the podcast, Amanda is joined by Nicole Pond who is the founder of The Yellow Bird Skincare Company. Nicole is from South Carolina, but she spent some of her childhood living in France, and has traveled to many places since then. Her travels early in life have inspired her to travel with her kids, and to know that traveling with children is possible! We talk about what traveling with children is like, what you can learn from it, how it can change your experience in a place, and more.

Nicole’s early travel experiences have also led her down the path of starting her own business. Growing up, Nicole changed friends, cities, and differently schools often, and the variety growing up, has lead to her trying different things in her career. She taught education, and now her and her husband have founded The Yellow Bird, which is a natural skincare company based out of South Carolina.

We also dig into natural skincare and chat about how you can minimize your skincare products on the road, find products that will last a long time, and what to look for when you run out of your favorite products and you’re in a different country.

Enjoy!
